The Hertz Corp. has become the newest partner of The PGA of America and will serve as a Supporting Partner of Golf Retirement Plus while providing discounted rental car rates to PGA Professionals, apprentices and staff.

With national headquarters in Park Ridge, N.J., Hertz operates approximately 8,000 locations while servicing both the average and business traveler throughout 145 countries. It has provided quality car service for more than 90 years. Hertz offers a Green Collection, which includes fuel-efficient, environmentally-friendly cars that are both easy on the wallet and suitable for families and small groups traveling together.

"The PGA of America is very proud to welcome Hertz as our newest partner, as it brings its tradition of service as one of the world's most recognizable brands in customer care," said PGA of America President Jim Remy. "We begin an exciting new partnership for our Association, and know that Hertz will be a tremendous addition to our family of supporting partners in Golf Retirement Plus."

Hertz employs more than 24,000 worldwide, while also serving as the world's largest equipment rental business, operating approximately 330 branches in United States, Canada, China, France and Spain.

Founded in 1997, Golf Retirement Plus is a supplemental retirement program for PGA Professionals and apprentices, GCSAA Superintendents, and CMAA Club Managers, which allows them to make their own contributions or have their employers contribute to their Golf Retirement Plus account on their behalf. PGA Professionals may also earn personal incentives by participating in the Golf Retirement Plus Sponsor Program.
