Avis Budget Group and OPENLANE to Sell Vehicles Online to Canadian Dealers
The two companies have expanded their partnership to begin offering Avis Budget Group vehicles on OPENLANE's Canadian auction site.
Avis Budget Group and OPENLANE, Inc., an online auction company in North America serving automotive dealers seeking to buy and sell vehicles wholesale, today expanded their agreement to begin offering Avis Budget Group vehicles for sale on OPENLANE's Canadian auction site, www.openlane.ca.
Since Avis Budget Group joined forces with OPENLANE in 2007, the company has sold thousands of rental vehicles to dealers in the United States.
"OPENLANE has provided Avis Budget with a great service over the past several years, reducing our vehicle time-to-sale and streamlining our overall inventory management process," according to Roman Zelyk, director of fleet operations at Avis Budget Group Canada. "Our expanded partnership will allow us to showcase our wide variety of vehicles to a larger audience and sell more vehicles in a faster and more efficient way."
OPENLANE.ca provides dealers with a feature-rich platform and wide array of comprehensive services for buying and selling wholesale vehicles online.
"Turnover on my lot is rapid, and I am always looking for vehicles to fill in the gaps and satisfy the needs of my customers," according to Omar Taha, sales manager of Precision Hyundai in Calgary, Alberta. "OPENLANE provides me with the cars I need quickly and efficiently, and with the addition of Avis Budget Group vehicles to the inventory selection, I will have a greater array of vehicles from which to choose."
"OPENLANE.ca has experienced tremendous growth in momentum since its launch last year, and we're always adding new services and partnerships to continue its growth and widespread adoption among Canadian dealers," according to Michael Brown, program director for OPENLANE. "We are thrilled to expand our partnership with Avis Budget Group and offer the wide variety of automotive makes and models as an additional inventory source for our Canadian customers."
