Hertz Forms Remarketing Partnership With Dealer Services Corp.
DSC customers will be able to purchase wholesale vehicles directly from Hertz’s national fleet of well-equipped used cars, trucks, and SUVs, by contacting their local sales representative.
The Hertz Corporation and Dealer Services Corporation (DSC), an independent finance company for the used-vehicle industry, have partnered to offer DSC customers access to Hertz vehicles for remarketing.
DSC customers will be able to purchase wholesale vehicles directly from Hertz's national fleet of well-equipped used cars, trucks, and SUVs, by contacting their local sales representative.
With DSC's national footprint in more than 72 markets, and its recently expanded sales team, DSC's collaboration with Hertz is just one of several new initiatives DSC has undertaken in 2010 to increase its service levels.
"We are excited to partner with a great organization that will give our dealers another source to locate inventory. We're looking forward to building a solid partnership with Hertz to assist them with their remarketing initiatives," said DSC's Chief Operating Officer Shane O'Dell.
"Hertz is always looking for new, innovative ways in which to remarket our fleet. By working with DSC, we're able to tap into its national network, making quality Hertz vehicles available to DSC dealers throughout the country," said John Thomas, Hertz executive vice president of global supply chain management.
