Hertz UK and Nectar Renew Partnership to Reward Customer Loyalty
Since Nectar's launch in 2002, more than £1.5 billion of rewards have been redeemed by its collectors.
Hertz announced in a Jan. 19 press release the renewal of its partnership with Nectar, the UK's loyalty program. The new deal means that Hertz customers will benefit from the exclusive arrangement, allowing them to gain points on their rentals to spend across a range of Nectar partners including restaurants, retailers and travel.
The announcement reconfirms Hertz's status as the only car rental company to reward customers with Nectar points for their rentals. The two companies have had the partnership since 2003.
To celebrate the partnership renewal Hertz and Nectar will be rewarding customers with six points for every £1 spent until March 31. From then, Hertz customers will be rewarded with two Nectar points for every £1 spent. Terms and conditions apply, which can be located on: http://www.hertz.co.uk/nectar.
Nectar is owned by Aimia, a global leader in loyalty management. More than 18.5 million collectors earn Nectar points when shopping for groceries, booking a holiday, paying household bills, buying petrol, and other transactions. Collectors also earn Nectar points every time they shop online via Nectar eShops at more than 500 online retailers including eBay and Argos. Since Nectar's launch in 2002, more than £1.5 billion of rewards have been redeemed by its collectors.
