According to Incentive Travel & Corporate Meetings in a Jan. 4 article, Maggiore, the Italian franchise partner for National Car Rental, made a 5-year agreement with Alitalia to be the airline’s exclusive car rental provider.
The partnership became available to customers of the airline’s various mileage programs as of Jan. 1.
“We have been striving to provide first-class services for some years now, with the aim of becoming a prime car hire company, appreciated for its values and typical Italian style,” said Stefano Gargiulo, Chief Executive of Maggiore. “And it is precisely this competitive, Italian spirit underlining the important commercial agreement we have just signed, which distinguishes both companies and sums up the strategic affinity between Maggiore and Alitalia.”
