Sixt Rent A Car, a German-based car rental company, will open its next U.S. location at the Hartsfield-Jackson Airport in Atlanta.

The Sixt Atlanta Rent A Car location plans to expand at Hartsfield-Jackson, one of the busiest airports in the world, but will initially start with nine employees.

Customers can benefit from Sixt’s online check-in and opportunity to bypass waiting at a counter and instead receive their keys from a booth in the parking area.

In addition, Sixt offers 500 SkyMiles miles with every rental and credits miles for loyalty and rewards programs such as United Mileage Plus, US Airways Dividend Miles, Lufthansa Miles & More, Air France Flying Blue, SMILES, Multiplus, Hilton HHonors and Starwood Starpoints.

The car rental company has several locations in Florida including the Miami International Airport, Ft. Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport, Orlando International, West Palm Beach, Miami Beach and Palm Beach International Airport.

All Sixt branches are open 24 hours to provide travelers with customer service needs and their fleet of vehicles ranging from Volkswagen, Ford, Toyota, Chevrolet, and Nissan, as well as specialty cars from Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Volvo.

For financial year 2011, Sixt recorded its best results in company history.
