Man Turns Himself in To Police for Unreturned Rentals
After disappearing for months after renting two vehicles from Hertz in Tennessee, a man surrendered to police.
According to Tennessee’s NewsChannel 5, the search for a man who never returned two rentals from Hertz in Franklin ended on May 15, when the suspect turned himself in to the police.
Michael Rocky Marks, 31, rented two Hertz vehicles in March, but failed to return the vehicles. One of the two Toyota Camry’s Marks rented was recovered, but one is still missing.
Marks was wanted on two counts of theft more than $10,000.
Police said Marks had communicated with them during his disappearance and knew he was wanted. Mark’s attorney told police it was the media that forced him to make the decision to come forward.
