According to France 24, the car-sharing company Autolib’ has one month to change its name under a Paris court ruling on June 29.
A court of appeal in Paris upheld a complaint by the car rental company, Europcar, that the name Autolib’ was too similar to Europcar’s initiative Autoliberté and demanded the company change its name.
The company plans to appeal the judgment claiming there will not be any confusion between the two companies.
