car2go North America Prices Increase
The cost to operate a car2go vehicle jumped from 35 cents per minute to 38, from $12.99 per hour to $13.99 and from $64.99 per day to $72.99. The new prices are in effect in all car2go cities in North America.
car2go operating costs in North America rose this month in order for the car sharing company to keep up with the cost of fuel, parking and insurance, according to AutoblogGreen.
As of Sept. 17, the rates increased in all car2go cities in North America from 35 cents per minute to 38, from $12.99 per hour to $13.99 and from $64.99 per day to $72.99.
The new rates will continue to include fuel, parking, insurance, maintenance and access to any car2go vehicle. Also, the membership card now provides holders with access to the entire car2go network in the United States.
