Jersey City, Seattle and Detroit Tie for 2nd in Hotwire’s Travel Savings Report
The top five car rental price reductions compared to last year’s rates for Hotwire’s November report resulted in a second place tie for Jersey City, Seattle and Detroit. Cincinnati topped the list for the second month in a row.
Hotwire.com released the November 2012 Hotwire Travel Savings Indicator. The report, released Nov. 20, features the top five cities in North America where car rental, air and hotel rates have dropped the most compared to the same time last year.
For the second month in a row, Cincinnati topped the car rental list with a 33% drop to $26 per day. Detroit also returned to the list from last month, but the city is now tied for second place with Jersey City and Seattle.
