Alamo Rent A Car launched its SaveTime service for international travelers at the U.S. Travel Association's 2010 International Pow Wow show.

SaveTime - a pre-rental registration service for Alamo customers traveling into the U.S. and Canada - is accessible through www.alamo.co.uk. To use the SaveTime service, customers just follow three easy steps:

  • Input reservation number and surname
  • Input license details and personal information
  • Complete booking, including any options (to be paid during check-in at the airport)

"Alamo pioneered ways to save customers time during the car rental process with our kiosk system," said Phil Eaton, vice president of international Sales and Marketing at Alamo. "Our new SaveTime service provides another way to shorten the time it takes to rent a car so our customers can quickly get on with their trip."

In addition, because international travelers are especially concerned about unexpected costs, exchange rate hikes and unpredictable fuel prices, Alamo provides all-inclusive rates and comprehensive products like Alamo Gold, which includes up to three additional drivers and a tank of gas for customers visiting the United States and Canada.

"Alamo continues to look for ways to deliver the kind of innovative, responsive customer service that international travelers and tour operators value," Eaton noted. "We are proud of our leadership position in the car rental industry, and our entire team of employees is focused on exceeding the expectations of Alamo customers everywhere."
