Deluxe Rent A Car, an independent operator serving the Los Angeles International Airport, has launched the Deluxe Reservation Network to help improve how its affiliate systems operate.
"All airport operators want the same thing - more reservations. Our primary goal is to bring reservations to our network associates at an affordable cost and to help with their success as they grow," John Hennessay, president of Deluxe Rent A Car, said.
Deluxe also recently signed an agreement to partner with an unnamed provider of Internet reservations. "As we were planning the Deluxe Reservation Network, Deluxe was contacted to join their brand. It was the first time an agreement of this type has been done. This industry leader has great insight into the future of the travel business and wanted Deluxe to be a part of it," Hennessay said.
The car rental company also plans to build a nationwide independent parking brand, called "Deluxe Airport Parking," to follow the success of its independent parking operations at LAX.
"This is a perfect fit for our travel reservation suppliers to cross-sell for the first time all four revenue sources: airline, hotel, car rental, and now parking. This also opens up opportunities for our car rental network associates to explore the parking business as a huge new revenue source," Hennessay said.
Deluxe Rent A Car is now accepting applications for all airports. For information, contact Samantha Combs at (310) 216-9250 x230.
