TULSA, Okla. -- Dollar Rent A Car's Website captured the Web Marketing Association's 2003 WebAward Standard of Excellence honor. This is Dollar's first award from the association.

"We're pleased to be recognized for our Website design," said Fred J. Fleischner, vice president of sales and marketing. "We constantly strive to make our site appealing and easy to use for our customers -- this award proves we're doing exactly that. We had some pretty formidable competition and are happy with this distinction."

More than 900 sites were entered from around the world and were judged during this year's competition. Entries were ranked based on design, innovation, content, interactivity, navigation, ease of use and use of technology. The Web Marketing Association is an independent organization, which evaluates and judges the standard of excellence for corporate sites on the Web.
