PARSIPPANY, N.J. -- Cendant Car Rental Group, owner of the Avis and Budget car rental systems, announced that Mary LeBlanc has joined the company as senior vice president and chief information officer.
LeBlanc is responsible for planning, organization and prioritization of IT projects, including development, architecture, quality assurance, operations research and operations.
"With nearly 22 years of experience in information technology, including significant experience with systems integration, implementation of enterprise scale applications and operations, we are confident that Mary is the right person to lead our overall IT initiatives going forward," said Bob Salerno, president and chief executive officer of Cendant Car Rental Group. "As we complete the process of putting Budget and Avis on the same Wizard reservation system platform, Mary will play a critical role in our continued success."
