An Industry View on Vehicle Damage Recovery

Consumer advocate Christopher Elliott recently interviewed Roger Van Horn of Enterprise about vehicle damage recovery and what happens when a car is dinged or scratched.

Van Horn is the vice president for corporate loss control at Enterprise Holdings, which owns Enterprise, National and Alamo.

Van Horn answered several questions, including what happens during the pre-rental vehicle inspection process, the definition of "wear and tear", a customer's responsibility for vehicle damage and handling damage claims.
