Auto Rental News and the American Car Rental Association (ACRA) are pleased to announce that Congressman Sam Graves of Missouri, Chairman of the Small Business Committee, will open the 2012 Car Rental Show on Monday, March 12 with a special address.

In addition to serving as the Chairman of the Small Business Committee, Graves also serves on the Transportation Committee. He is a co-sponsor of H.R. 2469, federal legislation that would prohibit future discriminatory taxes imposed on car rental customers by state and local governments.

In 2005, Graves authored the legislation that eliminated vicarious liability for owners of rented or leased vehicles. The Chairman will discuss new challenges for rental companies and all businesses.
