Hertz UK Launches ‘Van Supersite’ in London

Hertz UK extended its nationwide Van Supersite network to Basingstoke, England on Aug. 21 to serve businesses in Hampshire.

The full range of vans available to rent includes Luton box vehicles, tippers, crew cabs and customized vehicles.

Customers will have access to commercial vehicle expertise, service and maintenance support, and repairs of both warranty and non-warranty vehicles.

Additionally, Hertz Van Supersites provide fleet management services that enable fleet managers to streamline vehicle usage, cut down pool fleet numbers and reduce administration costs.

“Van rental offers an unbeatable alternative to investing in vehicle ownership,” said Hertz International President Michel Taride. “It reduces the financial commitment companies have to put into everything from breakdown cover and insurance to getting a fleet of vehicles taxed and ready for the road. The trend for van fleet rentals instead of purchases is increasing, and this shift in behavior has created a requirement for our van business to expand.”
