Enterprise Rent-A-Car Predicts Heavy Holiday Road Travel

Memorial Day marks the unofficial start to the summer travel season, and this year, the forecast is sunny -- at least when it comes to driving vacations. Enterprise Rent-A-Car, North America's largest rental car brand, has announced it has seen more than a 20 percent increase over last year in car rental reservations at neighborhood locations.

"It's encouraging to see Americans planning getaways this summer," said Steve Short, vice president of leisure business development for Enterprise Rent-A-Car. "The significant increase in our holiday weekend reservations shows that the road trip is alive and well."

The Enterprise brand was built on neighborhood car rentals and that business continues to grow, seeing a double-digit increase over the last year. To get more information about Enterprise Rent-A-Car or to rent a vehicle, visit www.enterprise.com.
