Rental Car Employee Returns $50,000 of Jewelry to Customer

A woman traveling with her husband hid $50,000 of jewelry in their rental car for safe keeping, according to The Canadian Press.

When the car was returned to the rental agency, the woman forgot about the jewelry. She frantically called later and advised customer service representative Nicole Kiatipis of the situation.

Kiatipis located the car and the valuable jewelry was returned to the owner.

As a reward, the woman bought a pizza lunch for the staff at Discount Car & Truck Rentals.
