Dubai: Expects an Increase in Car Rental Demand, the U.K.-based online car rental booking site, expects the demand for car rental in Dubai to increase this year, according to a recent press release. This directly follows a 10% increase in bookings in 2011 over 2010, and predicts this trend will continue into 2012.

“The popularity of Dubai is increasing all the time and we are seeing demand for car hire follow that trend,” said Phil Partridge, marketing manager for “Most tourists collect the car straight from the airport; however, we are seeing a number collect from our downtown locations or their hotel to make a few day trips rather than have a car for their entire stay. We are flexible and can cater for different drop-off locations.” compares rates of more than 20,000 locations globally.
