Avis Rolls Out the BMW 5 Series for U.S. Travelers

Avis is adding BMW 5 Series sedans to its car rental fleet, according to a company press release. These BMWs have been available for rent at select rental locations across the United States as of Feb. 7.

"Our customers told us they wanted an even broader range of high-end cars, and we have responded by further diversifying our fleet," said Jeannine Haas, chief marketing officer for Avis Budget Group, parent company of Avis. "We were happy to add the BMW 3 Series to our Avis 'Cool Cars' rental fleet in the U.S. last year, and our experience with BMWs in both the United States and Europe tells us that the 5 Series will be extremely popular with our customers."
