Van Models Announced for UK’s Plug-in Van Grant

The U.K.’s Department of Transportation announced in late February that seven different low-emissions van models are eligible for its plug-in van grant. The grants allow both private consumers and businesses to receive a grant of 20% toward the cost of the vehicle, up to a maximum of £8,000.

Eligible vehicles include the Transit Connect Electric, Renault Kangoo and Daimler Mercedes-Benz Vito E Cell. The funding is available until 2015.
