Agency Manager Deposits $147k into Personal Account, Jail Sentence Pending

According to the Star Phoenix, Dwayne Maskwa, 39, defrauded the Avis location at John G. Diefenbaker International Airport out of almost $147,000. Maskwa, who was the manager, will receive sentencing in January.

From 2007-2010, Maskwa was depositing checks into his personal account at the same bank as Avis Budget Group into an account under the name "Avis." According to the Star Phoenix, Avis Budget Group has already recouped its money from the bank.
