Avis Budget Group Partners with Mountain Resort Company

Avis Budget Group Inc. entered a multi-year partnership agreement with Intrawest, a developer and operator of mountain resorts across North America, according to a company announcement on Nov. 8.

As part of the agreement, Avis and Budget will be the "official rental car" of each of Intrawest's properties. The car rental brands will be featured on signage at Intrawest's properties and will include logo placements on Intrawest's official and property websites.

Additionally, Avis Budget Group will include Intrawest in its call transfer program, offering customers the opportunity to make a reservation at Intrawest's ski resorts.

“This new partnership will give us the opportunity to market our brands to their valuable customer base and as a result, help us drive profitable growth to travelers from around the world,” said Stephen Wright, Avis Budget Group VP of Global Travel and Partnerships .
