Autorent Opens Car Rental Location at Muscat International Airport
Autorent said it will add more than 500 cars to its fleet to serve the demand at the new airport location.
Autorent, a car rental company in the Middle East opened an on-airport location at Muscat International Airport, also called Seeb International Airport. The airport is located in Seeb, Oman, just west of the city of Muskat.
Autorent will add more than 500 cars to its fleet to serve the demand at the airport location. The fleet will consist of economy, compact and mid-class luxury cars, with the availability of a navigation system based on the request of the customer.
The new location will provide daily, weekly and short-term rentals. Autorent said it will also provide airport transfers based on pre-booking for limousine services. The car rental and limousine services can also be booked online through autorent-me.com.
“With the new counter at the airport terminal, we look forward to a significant growth, providing an enhanced customer touch-point for our brand-Autorent," said Pratip Mukherjee, Autorent's head of Oman operations. "With this counter, we will be able to serve a variety of international customers with their transportation needs."
“Being a partner of leading travel companies, and the growing number of reservations online for the airport location, Autorent initiated the plan to start with airport counters," said Chandra Mouli, senior general manager of Autorent. "Now Autorent is happy to announce its opening of the first airport counter in Muscat to serve both online customers as well as direct customers. We are also planning to open car rental counters at Dubai Airport as well as airports in Saudi Arabia in the near future."
