Redspot Sixt is set to open its latest location at the Rockhampton Airport in Australia on April 1.
The new location will provide the Central Queensland region with rental cars and access to the company’s other services including Business Club and Club Red products.
The opening also marks Redspot Sixt’s 25th year in the car rental business. The company has expanded since its inception in 1989 with one vehicle to become a national operator and one of the largest locally owned car rental brands in Australia. The company also established a marketing partnership with Sixt in 2012.
Redspot Sixt plans to hire its Rockhampton branch manager and staff locally.
“The Rockhampton region is a growing and dynamic market and the terminal redevelopment at Rockhampton Airport which now includes Redspot Sixt’s kiosk, will provide improved facilities to travelers,” said Redspot Sixt Managing Director Dan Mekler.
