Budget Car Rental has opened two new locations in the Republic of Colombia. Located in downtown Bogota and El Dorado International Airport, the new Budget facilities offer travelers a range of vehicles to serve the needs of business and leisure customers.
"Bogota is home to one of the busiest airports in Latin America in terms of passenger traffic," said Patric Siniscalchi, president, Latin America/Asia-Pacific, Avis Budget Group. "We're thrilled to expand our footprint into this market and offer residents of and travelers to Colombia a value-conscious car rental option."
The Budget fleet in Colombia consists of automatic-transmission vehicles from manufacturers such as Ford and Kia, says Avis. In addition, customers can choose from optional products and services, including GPS navigation devices, child safety seats and vehicle damage coverage options.
Budget Colombia is an independently-owned and operated licensee of Budget Car Rental. Licensees have the rights to operate under the Budget brand in specified territories and in accordance with Budget's brand standards, says the company.
