At the 2014 Avis Car Rental Licensee Awards for Asia Pacific, Avis Car Rental Philippines has been honored as Licensee of the Year. The awards ceremony took place in Phuket, Thailand.
Honored with its growth in annual financial performance, measured against its local country economic growth and strong delivery of strategic initiatives, Avis Philippines stood out among the judging panel of the Licensee Awards.
"In a challenging and highly competitive market, Avis Philippines excelled and has demonstrated strong growth in rentals and revenue, as well as exceptional customer service performance," said Patric Siniscalchi, president, Latin America/Asia Pacific, Avis Budget Group.
In addition, Avis Philippines was recognized with its strong alignment with Avis Car Rental's global initiatives and its focus upon customer satisfaction.
Avis India, Avis Vietnam and Avis Taiwan were honored for their outstanding achievement in the areas of growth and excellence in customer service, says the company.
