Uber, the mobile app-based transportation network, has launched its UberX app in Bucharest, Romania’s capital city, according to a report by Romania-Insider.com. Uber is the first ride-sharing program in the country.
As of Feb. 25, the UberX app is available for users to connect with vehicle drivers in Bucharest. The app charges a $0.34 base fare and an additional $0.34 per kilometer. The minimum fare is $1.47, according to the report.
Uber is currently available in more than 200 cities worldwide.
