As part of its expansion into the Asia region, Booking Group, an online car rental broker, has partnered with Ctrip, a Chinese-based travel agency.
Through this partnership, Ctrip customers in China can now search and book car rentals overseas through Booking Group — in over 30,000 locations in 150 countries.
Additionally, it gives more choices to Ctrip visitors looking for car rentals; Booking Group works with more than 850 car rental suppliers worldwide, according to the company.
“As the biggest online travel agency in China, Ctrip is very glad to be a partner of Booking Group, the famous broker within car rental sector,” said Frank Song, commercial director for Ctrip. “By working with Booking Group, Ctrip gets to provide Chinese customers the best price for overseas car rental within Greater China. We believe that it will also help to increase the Ctrip market share in China outbound car rental.”
