Dollar Rent A Car, a subsidiary of The Hertz Corp., is offering its customers the chance to win a college savings fund with its new “Dollar Sing-A-Long” promotion via social media.

To enter, customers need to submit a video of their best sing-a-long and then share on Facebook or Twitter with the hashtag #SingWithDollar, according to the company. Friends can vote for your entry through social media.

One grand prize winner and two runners up will receive a college savings fund for the child or children featured in the video. The grand prize is $2,000 while the two runners up will be awarded $1,000 each.

"We are always looking for fun ways to engage and interact with our customers," said Bob Stuart, executive vice president, global sales. "The Dollar Sing-a-Long not only helps us to do that but also allows us to give back in an important way."

The top 10 videos with the highest e-Score will be submitted to Dollar. Then the top three will be selected, according to the company. Contest ends Aug. 12.
