Avis Budget Named Rental Partner of Wyndham Rewards
Through the partnership, Wyndham Rewards members can save up to 30% on Avis and Budget rentals and earn up to 1,000 bonus points through a fall promotional offer.
Avis Budget Group and Wyndham Hotel Group have signed a multi-year partnership agreement, making Avis Car Rental and Budget Car Rental exclusive partners of the Wyndham Rewards loyalty program.
This new agreement expands the existing relationship between the two companies.
Wyndham Rewards members now earn double the points previously earned per day on eligible Avis and Budget rentals — 100 points daily — while receiving greater access to money-saving offers.
Additionally, members also have the option of converting Wyndham Rewards points to rental certificates, starting with as few as 6,500 points, according to the company.
"The new Wyndham Rewards program makes it easier than ever for members to earn and redeem points for meaningful rewards," said Tom Villani, vice president, global travel and partnerships, Avis Budget Group. "We're thrilled that Wyndham Rewards has selected Avis Budget Group as its exclusive car rental provider. The expanded relationship will help generate incremental rental volume while giving Wyndham Rewards members an even more rewarding rental experience."
To celebrate the expanded partnership, now through the end of the year, Wyndham Rewards members can receive up to 30% off all eligible Avis and Budget rentals, plus a bonus of 750 to 1,000 Wyndham Rewards points, depending on their Wyndham Rewards status.
"Wyndham Rewards is all about simplicity, generosity and rewarding those who've earned it," said Noah Brodsky, senior vice president of worldwide loyalty and engagement at Wyndham Hotel Group. "With great vehicles, thousands of locations globally and now double the points, Avis and Budget are the perfect fit for our members."
