Sixt rent a car has been named the gold winner of the best car hire provider category at the 2015 British Travel Awards.
Designed to reward the best companies in travel, the British Travel Awards program features consumer-voted awards in the U.K. Across all categories, a total of 1.2 million votes were received.
“We are proud to have received this award as a sign of our consumer´s trust and satisfaction,” said Per Voegerl, Sixt UK’s managing director commercial. “Sixt is offering first class service and premium cars to economy prices in the U.K. as well as in 105 countries worldwide. The award for ‘Best Car Hire Company’ is so important for us because it was voted for by our customers. … ”
“More than a quarter of a million consumers voted this year to determine the winners of the 2015 British Travel Awards — it’s the largest awards program in the U.K. and to win is a clear statement that companies are providing excellence in travel to the discerning consumer,” said Lorraine Barnes Burton, chief executive of the British Travel Awards. “The travelling public regards the British Travel Awards winners’ logo as the benchmark for excellence when it comes to finding out who are the best travel companies, and Sixt rent a car is to be congratulated on their achievement.”
The British Travel Awards is an independent organization, verified by global accountancy practitioners Deloitte.
