Fox Rent A Car’s current rental office in San Diego will be relocating to San Diego International Airport’s new rental car center. The $316-million facility will open on Jan. 20.

According to Fox, it will operate daily from 4:00 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. At this location, Fox customers will be offered new benefits, including the rental car center’s shuttle service and an expanded Fox fleet.

“We have been looking forward to moving into the new San Diego Airport car rental facility for some time,” said J. Sean Busking, Fox’s chief operating officer. “The move to the new San Diego airport rental center is the most recent of several Fox location moves or upgrades at new facilities to take place in the last year. We look forward to growing our market share and improving our customer experience with the new state of the art facilities and streamlined rental and return access at San Diego Airport.”
Featuring 14 car rental brands, San Diego Airport’s new $316-million rental car center is set to open to airport travelers on Wed. Jan. 20. The rental center is located at 3355 Admiral Boland Way.
Rental operators can now detect and act on speeding while vehicles are still on rent, thereby reducing fines, admin workload, vehicle wear, and safety risks.
The combination brings actionable vehicle insights into PurCo’s PurInspect platform, improving damage detection and operational efficiency for rental fleets.
