Lyft will soon introduce the ability to add an extra stop into the app during a ride, according to a report by Lyft.

If you need to pick up a friend or want to stop at the store on the way to your destination, add the stop into the Lyft app and your route will be updated.

Under “destination” on the app, a rider can add his or her first stop and the driver will head there first, according to the report.

Additionally, the Lyft app will soon allow riders to remove a stop at any time. If plans change and you don’t need to make the stop added, you can select “remove stop,” says the report.
