Avis has launched its Avis Now app at select locations within Australia. The app is available at two Avis locations in Brisbane and Adelaide, but the company plans to eventually offer the app nationwide.

The app allows users to upgrade vehicles or extend the period of the rental. Avis Now also offers one-touch check-in for picking up vehicles and enables users to see details on upcoming pickups, according to the company.

The app will help reduce reliance on counter clerks and cut down on the time needed to return rental vehicles.
