Eco Rent A Car, an India-based ground transportation service provider, has named Gautam Nath as its new CEO.
Nath will spearhead Eco Rent A Car’s operations as it enters into a new phase of growth and expansion, according to the company.
He has joined Eco Rent A Car from Delhivery, where he served as the senior vice president of the international and domestic B2B business verticals.
"Eco Rent A Car has seen notable and visible growth since inception, especially over the last two years,” said Rajesh Loomba, director at Eco. “In 20 years of our existence, we have created an enterprise, which has managed to tide through various trends that have emerged in the car rental, employee transportation, and ‘taxi’ landscape. We are pleased to welcome Gautam on board and are certain that, with his years of experience, he will be instrumental in rolling the wheel uphill. We believe that he will not only drive growth, but will also be able to lead strategy and company culture in a professional, rewarding, and effective way."
"As the CEO of Eco Rent A Car, my role is well-defined and comes at a time when the market is ripe with healthy competition, latest technology, and changing mindsets about car ownership,” said Nath. “Having been in the business for the past 20 years, the Eco team has a deep understanding of the nuances of the Indian ground transportation space. My job will be to leverage the strengths of the company and turn them into winning strategies to cement Eco's position as a domain leader."
