Canadian-based Via Route Car and Truck Rentals has announced the acquisition of car rental agency Bleu Pelican.

With this acquisition, an additional 19 franchise locations will now become part of the Via Route brand, supplementing the eight existing branches.

"This is the perfect opportunity for Via Route to continue our mission of serving customers in every corner of the province thanks to our great selection of vehicles for rent and for resale,” said Robert Lalonde, Via Route’s president. “Our large fleet and proven logistics systems will allow us to sustain our growth and pursue our ambitious plan for expansion."

Operating for more than 30 years, Via Route has locations in Montreal, Laval, and Monteregie.
