Europcar Ireland has won the Customer Favorite Award for 2016.

Additionally, based on reviews from the community around the globe, three Europcar branches — at Knock, Shannon, and Kerry airports — were recognized for their outstanding customer service.

“Europcar is very proud to be recognized as customer favorite for car rental services,” said Colm Mention, CEO of Europcar Ireland. “We are committed to provide high quality service to our customers. Europcar’s recognition as favorite rental car brand rewards our will to enhance our daily dedication of our staff.”

DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM Europcar Ireland!!!! We was cheated big time!! We ordered a a car through Expedia that seem to be the best one but it turned out as the worset. When we came to pickup the car we discovered that the price is without the car insurance. This information was not notified when we booked the car. The insurance fee per day is 32 eur (1600 !!! eur policyholder's participation) or 55 eur per day (without deductible)!!! So, for 5 days we paid 643.88 đź’¶.
This fees are extremely high, we knew it but we couldn't do anything except of take the car for a shorter period. When we got to the airport we talked to people that rent the cars with a huge difference of fee. Everyone that rent a car from Europcar felt that they was cheated.
Very different experience was to people that rent with Enterprise for example.

I would advise all non EU bookings to read the terms of their booking. Do not take for granted what you believe and what is fact. All booking streams will advise you the same. Any questions contact the car rental company in advance
