Auto Europe is pledging $5 per reservation booked by any travel agent nationwide for their client now through Sept 30, 2017.
The pledge goes toward a relief fund to assist agents in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. Additionally, Imad Khalidi, president of Auto Europe, will personally match the pledge.

“We as an industry need to unite in this time of crisis and help our fellow partners,” said Khalidi. “With an estimated 400+ agencies in the storm’s path, my wish is that other suppliers will also rally and show their support with similar pledges or contributions.”
Funds will be held in a trust and distributed to agents in need of assistance in Texas on January 1, 2018. Agents in need of urgent support can contact Auto Europe immediately, according to the company.
Auto Europe’s commitment to supporting its network of travel agent partners is a tradition. In 2005, Auto Europe contributed funds to a similar relief program created to support agents impacted by Hurricane Katrina and dispatched funds to agents affected by the deadly wildfires in Southern California in 2007.
