Avis Budget Group Inc. has selected its Avis Car Rental and Budget Car Rental Licensees of the Year for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

This year's recipients for the region are Avis Iceland and Budget Lebanon. Each honoree accepted the award at a ceremony held in Greece.

The annual Licensee Awards recognize licensee partners that have demonstrated growth in annual financial performance, measured against their respective country's economic conditions, excellence in customer service, and alignment with the brand's initiatives.

"As a mobility solutions provider with a presence in approximately 180 countries around the globe, we rely on the expertise and professionalism that our licensees offer Avis and Budget customers in the countries in which they operate," said Mark Servodidio, president, International, Avis Budget Group. "Avis Iceland and Budget Lebanon have invested in their businesses and delivered strong growth and high levels of customer satisfaction. We applaud their hard work and dedication."

Avis Car Rental in Iceland has been independently owned and operated for 30 years. Budget Lebanon has been in operation for 20 years.
