Lyft has started testing monthly subscription plans for its ridesharing service, reports the Verge.
Various subscription and pricing models have been rolled out for testing, including all-access passes for 30 standard Lyft rides for $199 per month, 60 standard rides for $399 per month, and $300 per month. Plans stipulated that the passes applied to rides valued at up to $15, with no information on pricing for costlier rides.
Lyft competitor Uber had previously tested its own subscription model in 2016 across several cities, but has yet to implement a subscription-based service.
