Rentalcars Connect, the ground transportation branch of Booking.com, revealed its business growth figures from the past 12 months.

The company gained new 850 clients, almost a 30% increase from the past year. Rentalcars Connect also grew its headcount by about 40%.

“2017 was a milestone year for us, having taken on a number of major new partners, many of them global-facing airlines and travel companies," said Fraser Ellacott, managing director at Rentalcars Connect. "Our growth trajectory reflects sentiments across the industry about ancillaries, with more travel providers exploring exciting revenue streams for an all-encompassing booking experience."
