For the third year in a row, Enterprise Rent-A-Car is ranked highest in satisfaction among rental car companies, according to the J.D. Power 2016 North America Rental Car Satisfaction Study. Enterprise Holdings' other brands National and Alamo took second and third.

Avis Budget Group has reported revenue of $2.7 billion for its third quarter 2016, a company record. This is a 3% increase primarily due to a 2% increase in pricing in the Americas and a 4% growth in international rental days.
Enterprise Holdings and Enterprise Fleet Management increased revenue 8.1% to $20.9 billion for the 2016 fiscal year for its rental and fleet management businesses, the privately-held company has announced.
Skurt, a transportation service that delivers rental cars, has launched in Miami. Skurt partners with rental companies to offer their fleet for daily rental through Skurt’s app.

After two months of significant rate quote increases over the previous year, airport rates for October were down $0.65 or about 1.5%, almost flat year-over-year. Rates turned down for the middle two weeks in October, but they were up again the last week of the month.
