Ron Robbins Joins Manheim

As Manheim Auctions is poised to begin to focus on new business opportunities and service enhancements, the company has a necessity for a senior vice president of marketing and strategic planning. Ron Robbins, executive director of North American fleet, lease and remarketing operations for Ford Motor Company, will join Manheim in this capacity after his retirement from Ford on May 31, 2000. He will report directly to Dennis Berry, president and CEO of Manheim.

Robbins began working for Ford in 1971 and has held several positions in his 29 years with the company. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and an MBA in Finance from the University of Georgia.
