Dollar Thrifty Reports Record Revenue for First Quarter

Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group Inc. reported that total revenue for the first quarter 2001 was a record $243.9 million, representing a 4% increase over the first quarter in 2000.

Net income for the quarter was $9.2 million, or 38 cents per diluted share. For the comparable quarter last year, net income was $11.3 million, or 46 cents per diluted share.
