Alamo Rent A Car Introduces European Prepaid Program

Alamo Rent A Car, a division of ANC Rental Corp., has introduced the European Prepaid Program, which lets customers prepay their rental charges before departing from the United States.

The program allows travel agents to quote costs and process charges against a customer's credit card in U.S. dollars before the customer leaves for Europe. The European Prepaid Program also offers savings of up to 20% off regular rates.

"Customers no longer have to guess what the exchange rate will be when they return their car," said Rosa Vega, Alamo's director of marketing for Europe. "They are able to calculate and pay for the entire rental in advance in U.S. currency. The European Prepaid Program is a huge convenience for international travelers and travel agents who book their customers' rental cars."
