Avis to Unveil Community Involvement Program

PARSIPPANY, N.J. -- Avis Rent A Car System will kick off its "Avis Cares About Community" program on Thursday morning, July 18, at its corporate headquarters. The program is aimed at supporting nonprofit organizations as well as introducing new marketing initiatives focused on attracting more leisure business.

In particular, the kick-off event will highlight a new marketing initiative involving the nationwide Special Olympics. The day's agenda includes a breakfast for members of the media as well as sports demonstrations by Special Olympics athletes and Avis employees.
