Dollar Opts for Worldspan Car Source

ATLANTA -- Worldspan announced Dollar Rent A Car has elected to participate in Worldspan Car Source, the highest level of car booking connectivity in the Worldspan system. With Dollar's participation in Car Source, travel agents, Web site customers and Worldspan Trip Manager users can book Dollar products using the same real-time rates and availability displayed in the car rental company's internal reservation system.

"Today's announcement adds an important new dimension to our overall distribution capability, giving more agencies, online sites and corporations better access to up-to-the-minute availability and rate data right from our own system," said Stewart Brown, Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group's vice president for revenue management.
