Avis Website Now Available in Spanish, Portuguese

PARSIPPANY, N.J. -- Avis Rent A Car System has introduced Spanish and Portuguese language versions of its global Website, www.avis.com. Until this launch, the site offered English and French Canadian versions only.

"We're pleased to offer these new languages to customers who want to utilize avis.com in their own native language when booking a vehicle online," said Scott Deaver, executive vice president of marketing for Cendant Car Rental Group, the parent company of Avis. "The ability to provide service in Spanish and Portuguese increases awareness of the level of service Avis offers to an increasingly diverse market throughout the United States and internationally."

To make a reservation in Spanish, Portuguese or French, customers can visit www.avis.com and enter their language preference. For service in additional countries and languages not found on www.avis.com, customers can visit www.avisworld.com.
